This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It is designed to reflect the role of conveyancers responsible for conveyancing work, team leadership and/or the management of a practice. At this level individuals are expected to apply specialist skills and knowledge in a range of situations to deal with complex situations and issues. They work across a broad range of technical or management functions with accountability for personal outputs and for team outcomes.

Core: Take instructions in relation to a transaction; Read and interpret a legal document and provide advice; Analyse and interpret legal requirements for a transaction; Prepare legal documents; Finalise the conveyancing transaction; Establish and manage a trust account; Identify and conduct searches; Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry; Apply the principles of contract law. Electives: Make decisions in a legal context; Negotiate to achieve goals and manage disputes; Develop and manage financial systems; Manage budgets and financial plans; plus more.

Conveyancing is a licensed occupation. Licensing regimes for conveyancers differ between States and Territories in Australia. Contact the relevant licensing body for advice to determine the most appropriate pathway to satisfy licensing requirements within a particular State or Territory.
Life after Study
Conveyancers prepare the documentation required for the purchase and sale of real estate and attend to property settlements. Conveyancers must have a sound knowledge of land law, land division, surveying, property development, property management, strata administration, insurance, taxation, business analysis, investment and contracts.
