This qualification is part of the Australian Meat Processing Training Package. It is for people who want to work in the meat retailing sector. Students will learn about health, safety, hygiene, quality and productivity. They will develop an understanding of the various operations and principles required in the workplace, and gain a range of competencies essential to the industry. They will also gain skills relating to occupational health and safety and quality assurance - skills which are applicable across all sectors of the food industry.
