This qualification is part of the Animal Care and Management Training Package. It is for persons operating at an assistant level and undertaking animal care functions in an animal care workplace.
Subjects you can Study
Core: Participate in workplace communications; Complete animal care hygiene routines; Maintain and monitor animal health and wellbeing; Plan for and provide nutritional requirements for animals; Comply with infection control policies and procedures in animal work; Contribute to OHS processes; Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices. Electives: Care for young animals; Provide reception services for an animal care facility; Provide enrichment for animals; Carry out simple breeding procedures; plus more.

Students can also study a Federation University degree at Federation Training, with flexible pathway options that take them from diploma to bachelor degree in just 2-3 years.
Flexible study options mean students can complete their course in a way that best suits their lifestyle. They can study full time, part time or online with confidence that they will be equipped with the skills they need to get ahead in the workforce.
