This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It provides a trade outcome in concreting operations for residential and commercial construction work in roles such as concreter or concrete pump operator. It is designed to meet the needs of concreters working in concreting operations on residential and commercial projects and has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist fields of work.

About North East Vocational CollegeEstablished in 2006, North East Vocational College is a Registered Training Organisation. It aims to provide a source of skilled workers and business operators, with particular emphasis on construction, business administration, frontline and small business management. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
