Core: Monitor environmental and sustainability best practice in the automotive mechanical industry; Apply safe working practices in an automotive workplace; Install, test and repair vehicle lighting and wiring systems; Test and repair basic electrical circuits; Diagnose and repair vehicle dynamic control systems; Repair air braking systems; Remove, inspect and refit heavy vehicle wheel assemblies; Diagnose and repair mechanical connections of heavy vehicles and trailers over 4.5 tonnes; plus more and electives.
