This qualification is part of the Property Services Training Package. It is for people who want to work in the private investigations industry as sub-agents. Students will develop knowledge and skills in planning and conducting an investigation. They will also learn how to coordinate work teams in an investigation industry context.

Private investigators conduct investigations for clients and prepare evidence for court proceedings. They are often involved with matters of insurance, missing persons and character enquiries. They may hold licences or perform the duties of a process server or private bailiff.
