This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It will equip students with the skills required to work as a scaffolder in the residential and commercial construction industry.
Subjects you can Study
Core: Safely handle and use scaffolding tools and equipment; Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - basic level; Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding - intermediate level; Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry; Plan and organise work; Conduct workplace communication; Carry out measurements and calculations; Read and interpret plans and specifications; Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry. Electives: Work safely at heights; Operate elevated work platforms; Operate a truck mounted loading crane; Operate personnel and materials hoists; Licence to operate a forklift truck; plus more.

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
