This qualification is part of the Health Training Package. It covers the skills needed to be a basic level aromatherapist. At this level an aromatherapist can only formulate applications within a relaxation framework. A person at this level is expected to have a basic knowledge of a limited range of oils (minimum of 20 oils). This course provides basic skills in aromatherapy health assessment and treatment and may be used by people working in a clinic, aged care facility, health service or spa facility giving basic aromatherapy treatment. Students may also be employed in the manufacturing of aromatherapy products; or retail of aromatherapy products.
