This qualification is part of the Community Services Training Package. It covers workers who provide a range of services and interventions to clients, and/or who implement community education and interventions. Individuals will learn how to provide a holistic approach to client needs, including social, emotional, psychological and practical support. Work may take place in a range of contexts such as community-based organisations, residential rehabilitation services and outreach services, and workers may have supervisory responsibilities. It also defines the knowledge and skills required by support workers and case workers who work autonomously under the broad guidance of others, and refers to specific knowledge of a client group and appropriate intervention processes applied in residential and community settings.

About Cultural Immersion Pty LtdEstablished in 2009, Cultural Immersion Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation offering training in floristry, retail, make-up and skin care, venues and events, youth work, education support, employment services, community services, foundation skills, education and skills development and English language and literacy. It specialises in providing accredited training, personal development services and minor case-management and counselling to disadvantaged and disengaged youth, single parents and other disadvantaged groups.
