This unit is part of the Transport and Logistics Training Package. It provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate a vehicle loading crane with a capacity of 10 metre tonnes or more, mounted on a vehicle for the principle purpose of loading and unloading such a vehicle, including the application of load estimation and slinging techniques to move a load for licensing purposes.

It offers tailored training plans which integrate with clients safe operating procedures (SOP's) to ensure that training outcomes provide not just a licence for an employee but an overall understanding of how the training relates to their everyday work procedures and a safer working environment. It aims to create a model which delivers organisational cultural change, where a competent individual understands the plant they are being trained on as well as its relationship to an employer's SOP's. WH&S More Skills seeks long term relationships with clients to ensure a consistent training approach across different sites and an understanding of all safety aspects of their sites, plant and work processes.
