This unit is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It covers the process of maintaining and operating quad bikes (four-wheeled) and defines the standard required to: perform routine pre-operational checks and maintenance; match, attach and operate equipment as described in the manufacturer's operators manual; recognise and control hazards and risks; safely operate quad bikes in a range of weather and terrain conditions and monitor and maintain vehicle records.
