Why AIT?

Being in the industry since 1999 comes with advantages. We’ve seen over 5,000 brilliant students walk out of our doors to do big things within the digital and creative industries. We’ve been able to make connections with many industry partners across the creative and digital space. We can see firsthand what the industry wants and apply this to the way we tech our students.

With two campuses based in Sydney and Melbourne, a dedicated online learning system and teachers who become inspiring mentors to students, our students know they have access to some of the best minds of our industry. We are continuously improving our campuses facilities to meet industry demands are teach our students the methods to better succeed within their chosen field.

At AIT, we offer courses in digital design, film and video, 2D animation, mobile app development and gaming. Our courses are created to ensure our students graduate with skills to help them land their dream job!

Across both our campuses, we strive to deliver the best for our students. So what sets us apart you ask?

  • Our campuses are small with small class sizes, which allows our students and teachers to have dedicated one-on-one times. Not only does this allow students to ask for feedback from their teachers, but work is of a higher quality – perfect for their portfolio!
  • We often host industry events after school hours or during lunch breaks. Recently, we had the Concept Art Team of Alien: Covenant attend for a talk; various local indie game companies come along to showcase their work to our students; members of the Australian Computer Society speak to our IT students about their membership programs, work opportunities and more! Not only does this allow students to meet key industry members, but provides them with many networking opportunities and the chance to put their foot forward for future job opportunities.
  • We have a dedicated Industry Liaison, with a wealth of industry connections to help our students obtain an internship. Our internship program is extremely successful, with over 80 per cent of our students obtaining a part-time or full-time job after they graduate with the company they interned with.
  • At AIT, we aim to avoid any barriers placed upon students who want to study and further develop themselves. To accommodate our students, we deliver full-time and part-time study options.
