Entry Requirements:

16 years of age or over and in search of adult options. This requirement varies between providers.


Certificate I in Transition Education comprises six core units plus electives.

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in OHS processes; Participate in travel, orientation and mobility; Participate in the community; Use technology for a range of purposes; Develop and document a learning plan and portfolio with support; Enhance own skills and self confidence. Electives: Operate a personal computer; Conduct a project with guidance; Access the internet for language learning; Explore personal health issues; Investigate processes to obtain learners permit; Participate in recreational activities; Apply numeracy for a range of purposes; plus more.

Study Pathways:

Certificate I in Transition Education may lead to further study at Foundation level or higher AQF level courses.

Established in 1998, Access Skills Training is a new Registered Training Organisation formed from the amalgamation of Continuing Education Bendigo and Victorian Occupational Training Educational Services. They are a not-for-profit, community based Registered Training Organisation and offer a range of accredited training in the Community Services area and in Vocational Preparation.
