Access Skills Training

This qualification is part of the Training and Education Training Package. It reflects the roles of individuals who apply substantial specialised skills and knowledge in the field of education and capability development, using ICT. In these roles they make high-level, independent judgements in major planning, design, operational and educational outcomes within highly varied and specialised contexts. It is designed to enhance, but not replace, a teaching or training qualification.

5 units: 3 core; 2 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Evaluate, implement and use ICT-based educational platforms; Use e-learning with social media; Design pedagogy for e-learning. Electives: Analyse, implement and evaluate e-assessment; Implement improved learning practice; Investigate the application of ICT content knowledge; plus more.

Established in 1998, Access Skills Training is a new Registered Training Organisation formed from the amalgamation of Continuing Education Bendigo and Victorian Occupational Training Educational Services. They are a not-for-profit, community based Registered Training Organisation and offer a range of accredited training in the Community Services area and in Vocational Preparation.
