This training program is made up of units from the Business Services Training Package. It is designed to provide its participants with knowledge and competency, to develop a safe working environment and maintain compliance with the either, Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations. This course is a "composite" course designed to develop personnel who take on the position of Health and Safety Officer or Manager. It contains 4 x Certificate IV Nationally Recogised Units of Competence, selected to ensure a broad range of topics and knowledge is provide to the student. This course is also recognised and accepted by the Victorian Building Commission for those applying for Commercial Builders registration.

- BSBWHS401 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements
- BSBWHS403 Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS consultation and participation processes
- BSBWHS404 Contribute to WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control
- BSBWHS405 Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS management systems.
Standard entry requirements
Students must possess basic reading, writing (english) and arithmetic skills.
