This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It provides a general vocational outcome in agriculture. The qualification enables individuals to select a livestock production or cropping context as a job focus or, in the case of mixed farming enterprises, both.

The provider delivers training in machine handling and maintenance. Ag Training's objective is to train agricultural workers to be confident, competent and safety conscious in regard to machinery operation in an agricultural environment. The provider offers individual units and short courses that comprise units from the Rural Production Training Package. Loadshifting licensing is also available.
