This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Worklink is a not-for-profit organisation that has been assisting regional Western Australians to Learn, Work and Grow since 1988. They have offices in Albany, Kalgoorlie and Esperance. As a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation, they customise training for individuals, groups and businesses with a focus on business and retail studies. In addition, they specialise in career guidance and assist people to better prepare for work. Each of their locations is also home to a Workforce Development Centre. These Centres are funded by WA's Department of Training and Workforce Development and assist people of any age to make educational, training and occupational choices and to realistically manage those career choices in the local labour market. They also offer many other linkages to access employment, education and training.
