This program has been developed to enable emerging marketing practitioners to understand the role and nature of marketing in a contemporary business environment and critically reflect on the roles and responsibilities of marketing. Students will learn how to engage and influence target audiences and apply marketing theories and practices in an ethical context. They will discover the role that marketing plays in the success of contemporary organisations and examine the industry's trends, responsibilities, needs and opportunities. Subjects covered when studying a marketing degree: Understanding Advertising, Consumer Behaviour, Marketing and Audience Research, Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy and International Marketing.

Structure

Accelerated delivery format. The degree requires students to undertake supervised industry placement, where they will complete 520 hours working as an intern within a relevant organisation and industry.

Study pathways

Course Credit is available upon academic approval. Block Credit is available ensures quick and easy recognition of your previous studies. An AQF level 5 Diploma in an aligned field will be eligible for block credit of 80 credit points. An AQF level 6 Advanced Diploma in an aligned field will be eligible for block credit of 120 credit points.
