This qualification is part of the Printing and Graphic Arts Training Package. It applies to skilled operators in the digital printing industry who are responsible for digital production workflow, such as job creation, printing and finishing. They apply a broad range of competencies in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. They provide technical advice and support to others.

Entry Requirements:

19 units: 4 core; 15 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices; Inspect quality against required standards; Maintain a safe work environment; Communicate in the workplace. Electives: Deliver and monitor a service to customers; Set up and produce basic digital print; Undertake inventory procedures; Set up and produce basic guillotined product; Produce basic flat-bed cut product; Generate high-end PDF files; Apply competitive manufacturing practices; plus more.

Study Pathways:

Graduates may be eligible to do the Certificate IV in Printing and Graphic Arts - Management/Sales.
