Core: Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry; Fell small trees; Undertake stump removal; Perform ground based rigging; Trim and cut felled trees; Operate a mobile chipper/mulcher; Provide basic emergency life support; Shift materials safely using manual handling methods. Electives: Apply a range of treatments to trees; Perform above ground pruning; Install tree protection devices; Treat weeds; Recognise plants; plus more.
