This qualification is part of the Transport and Logistics Training Package. It is designed for those engaged in driving operation job roles in the Transport and Logistics industry. It involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development. The qualification is suitable for drivers of fuel tankers, LP gas tankers, chemical tankers and heavy recovery vehicles.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education. Applicants should hold a current Australian driver's licence. Prerequisites units may apply to some electives.


12 units: 4 core; 1 licensing or industry elective; plus general electives

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Apply chain of responsibility legislation, regulations and workplace procedures; Apply fatigue management strategies; Implement and supervise transport regulations compliance systems; Apply work health and safety requirements for driving operations. Plus electives.
