Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck (TLI Unit)

This unit is part of the Transport and Logistics Training Package. It specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely. Forklift truck means a truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage which is attached to a pair of fork arms or other arms that can be raised 900mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education; a person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck high risk work (HRW) licence

Established in 1999, Australia Wide Forklift Training Centre Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation that offers forklift, stock picker, elevated work platform and heavy vehicle training. The courses are offered via flexible delivery at the client's site or at the provider's site in Tullamarine. As an extension of Australia Wide Forklift Training Centre, Advanced Heavy Vehicle Training began operating in 2006 and offers heavy vehicle driver training for people with all levels of experience, including refresher training, Heavy Vehicle Truck licenced driver courses and assessments with one on one training.
