This course is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge, skills and specific competencies to lead towards a career as a virtuoso classical ballet dancer; an individual who possesses outstanding technical and artistic ability in the art of classical ballet.

Demonstrate virtuoso classical ballet technique; Demonstrate and perform virtuoso solo variations; Perform virtuoso pas de deux; Perform virtuoso repertoire; Demonstrate virtuoso contemporary dance technique; Demonstrate virtuoso pointe work techniques (females); Apply extended gym/weight techniques to virtuoso ballet training (males); Apply psychological techniques to virtuoso performance; Apply nutrition principles to the requirements of a professional dancer; Plan a career in the creative arts industry; Monitor a safe workplace.
