This program is a general business degree without specialisation in any particular subject area. With a broad understanding of the fundamentals of business, many career options await and you can select subjects from any area of business we offer. In addition you can select subjects from across other faculties when studying an open elective, providing even more choice. Students may elect to enrol in a Professional Experience unit involving professional placement within a business organisation (in the relevant discipline area) over a period of 105 hours.

Year 12 or equivalent. NSW Prerequisites: English (Standard) (Band 2) or EAL (Band 3). QLD Prerequisites: English (4, SA). VIC Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English.

As the Bachelor of Business Administration is interdisciplinary, it is not intended to fulfil the requirements for membership in a professional organisation and does not meet the requirements for entry into CPA programs. These requirements are met by other ACU business degrees.

Australian Catholic University (ACU) commenced operation on 1 January 1991. The University has seven campuses in Adelaide, Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney (2 campuses) and teaches courses throughout Australia and overseas. The University was formed by the amalgamation of four Catholic institutions of higher education in eastern Australia, and is incorporated as a company limited by guarantee (Australian Catholic University Ltd).

ACU is a public university open to all, a Table A listed higher education provider under the Higher Education Support Act 2003, and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and the International Federation of Catholic Universities. The University is a member of Universities Australia (formerly the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee).

The three foundation Faculties are Arts and Sciences, Education, and Health Sciences. The Faculty of Theology and Philosophy commenced operation on 1 January 2009 and the Faculty of Business commenced operation on 1 January 2010.
