The Graduate Certificate in Safeguarding Children and Young People is a four unit (40 credit points) AQF Level 8 course. It is a cross-disciplinary standalone course. The course is a proactive response to the present social and political challenges in safeguarding children and young people. It is designed to provide the opportunity for participants to develop knowledge and understandings of contemporary issues and responses to safeguarding children and young people, exploring the conditions and factors that facilitate or impede child-safe environments.
