This program will allow students to meet the entry requirements of professional accounting bodies including CPA (Certified Practicing Accountants) Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. It will teach students how to analyse, research and make informed recommendations about a broad range of accounting problems and issues. They will learn essential accounting principles, practices and techniques and be able to apply them to a variety of situations including: auditing; financial reporting; internal controls; finance and management accounting. Graduates will also appreciate the ethical, legal and professional dynamics of accounting and the accounting profession.

The Master of Professional Accounting has been designed to meet the entry requirements of the professional accounting bodies, CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting or Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting may exit from the course with the relevant award.
