Certificate IV in Public Safety - Biosecurity Response Leadership

This qualification is part of the Public Safety Training Package. It is open to any individual who has worked in or is likely to work in a leadership role in biosecurity response either in a field or operations centre role.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education


11 units: 5 core; 6 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Administer workgroup resources; Conduct briefings/debriefings; Manage active operational emergency disease or plant pest sites; Identify and treat risks; Lead a work team or group. Electives: Implement and monitor the organisation's OHS policies, procedures and programs; Maintain OHS processes; Plan and conduct a public awareness campaign; Deliver recovery services; Control a level 1 incident; Command agency personnel within a multi agency emergency response; Manage a multi-team sector; plus more.
