Diploma of Public Safety - Biosecurity Response Management

This qualification is part of the Public Safety Training Package. It is open to any individual who has worked in or is likely to work in a management role in a biosecurity response, as a member of an Incident Management Team, in an operations centre role.

11 units: 5 core; 6 elective

Liaise with other organisations; Control a Level 2 incident; Manage the implementation of an emergency disease or plant pest control program; Lead, manage and develop teams; Manage physical resources; Electives: Manage media requirements at a major incidents; Establish and maintain the OHS system; Manage operations for a Level 3 incident; Coordinate resources for a multi-agency incident; Plan and oversee an emergency disease or plant pest program; plus more.
