This program is designed to help Christians minister effectively in various counselling roles. It has been developed in response to the growing need for well trained counsellors in today's society. The program provides knowledge, understanding and skills to assist students to offer help to individuals, couples and families. It provides an integrated program of theology, counselling theories and practices and counselling skills.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; or a diploma in a similar field; or mature age


144 credit points (a full-time student takes subjects to the value of 24 credit points in each semester)

Pastoral counselling; Pastoral counselling chaplaincy

Study Pathways:

Students can exit after 2 years with the Associate Degree of Social Science if the relevant course requirements have been fulfilled. Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning are available as per the College policy.
