Established in 2009, Australian Dance Institute Pty Ltd (ADI) is a Registered Training Organisation offering accredited courses in student dance training. Dance training focuses on creativity, musicality, body science, history, safe dance and stagecraft for classical ballet, jazz and tap. These examinable components, with complementing technical skills, are all synchronised to objective assessment criteria in ADI's endorsed syllabuses. Dance Teacher training recognises the dance teacher as a small business operator providing business, safe dance, dance analysis and production units. Entry requirements for Australian Dance Institute Pty Ltd
Dance training age entry: approximately 12. Teacher training age entry: minimum 16 with approximately 10 years of training in the dance style of choice (Elementary level or equivalent) or similar prior years of training experience.par For certificates I to IV in dance ADI recognised prior experience gained in dance society examinations conducted on request. Current recognition includes ADA, ADV, CSTD, MDEC, RAD, plus others on request
Transfering your previous study credits
Recognition of prior learning and competency is provided. ADI recognises all other NVR qualifications and competencies.
External study opportunities
Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management is delivered primarily by distance learning with set workshops in major capitals. Certificates I - IV in Dance are delivered in dance schools with academic studies via distance learning.
