Advanced Diploma of Editing: Reality Television

Strengthen your editing skills to confidently enter the industry as an assistant editor with the know-how to fast track your career progression within the post-production department. In this practice-based course, students will build upon existing practical experience of non-linear editing systems with the targeted application of Avid Media Composer software in non-scripted editing. Increase understanding of editing principles, and build the skill and knowledge required to edit in this format. Plus, students will practice the skill of applying storytelling principles to edit unscripted, on screen events. In addition, they will develop and build industry and professional knowledge including post-production processes and workflows, roles and responsibilities and compliance requirements, as well as the unique skills required when working as a freelancer or contractor.
