Advanced Diploma of Production Sound

Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS)

Take your passion for production sound to the next level by gaining a strong set of craft skills in order to enter the film, television or media industry as a sound recordist and mixer, boom operator, sound assistant, or content creator. Be immersed in the practice of sound recording using industry standard technologies to gain proficiency in the specialised skills required to be a solo operator in scripted and unscripted production contexts. A one-week placement will help make industry connections, while gaining an understanding of the role of production sound in a professional setting.

Saturday workshop on campus at AFTRS, Moore Park, Sydney and a one week industry placement in semester 2.
