Learn the craft of cinematography. Develop the ability to confidently capture quality picture and sound across a range of shooting requirements. In this course, students will develop the skillset to become an adaptive storyteller; one who can create stories for different formats, genres and contexts. They will also learn how to make editorial decisions as a solo operator, so that they can shoot material that will cut together in the edit. Developing vital familiarity with best practices in the industry to make strategic choices in their career. All this forms part of the competencies required to become professionally ready to enter the camera departments on productions requiring crew with Shooter/Producer skill sets.
