Learn the specialised skills required to forge a career as a production accountant in screen content production. This course will develop the students understanding of the role of the production accountant on different types of projects. It will prepare the student to be an assistant on a fast track to a career as a feature film production accountant or to take a role immediately as a production accountant on a low budget project. In this course the student will develop an understanding of the financial requirements and reconciliation of each stage of production. Develop skills in payroll, accounts payable, petty cash, cost reporting and funding reporting as it relates to screen production.
