The MA Screen: Editing provides students with the opportunity to learn by deep immersion in the craft of editing. Participating in an intensive cycle of creative tasks, they will build on storytelling intuition, develop the technical know-how to realise their interpretation of a film, TV show or documentary and begin the journey to becoming an applied artist. Students will learn how to identify techniques for making audiences think and feel, while also making a technically and aesthetically cohesive work in AVID. Coverage, continuity, temp music and sound for the edit and all the various post-production stages, from grade to mix. Learn how to shape an actor's performance to best tell the narrative in the most moving way possible.
