This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. This qualification provides a trade outcome in waterproofing for the residential and commercial construction industry.

Core: Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry; Plan and organise work; Conduct workplace communication; Read and interpret plans and specifications; Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry; Handle waterproofing materials; Use waterproofing tools and equipment; Prepare for construction waterproofing process; Prepare surfaces for waterproofing application; Apply waterproofing process to below ground level wet areas; Apply waterproofing process to external wet areas; Apply waterproofing process to internal wet areas; Apply waterproofing remedial processes. Plus electives.

Further information:

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
