This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It is for people working or wanting to work as riggers in the construction industry.

Core: Licence to perform rigging basic level; Licence to perform rigging intermediate level; Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry; Plan and organise work; Conduct workplace communication; Carry out measurements and calculations; Read and interpret plans and specifications; Work safely at heights; Operate elevated work platforms; Work safely around power sources, services and assets; Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry. Electives: Perform basic rigging; Perform intermediate rigging; Licence to operate a forklift truck; Implement traffic management plan; Erect and dismantle basic scaffolding; plus more.

Further information:

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
