This qualification is part of the Creative Arts and Culture Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals developing a range of visual art skills who take responsibility for own outputs in work and learning. Practice at this level is underpinned by application of introductory art theory and history.

The Australian Institute of Creative Design is a Registered Training Organisation located on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. The Australian Institute of Creative Design incorporates the Australian Institute of Fashion Design, Australian Institute of Beauty Therapy and the Australian Institute of Makeup and Styling. The majority of classes do not exceed 16 students.
