This qualification is part of the Financial Services Training Package. It reflects entry level job roles in credit management functions. Individuals in these roles apply theoretical and technical knowledge and skills to work autonomously and exercise judgement in completing routine and non-routine activities relating to credit, reconciliation and customer service.

12 units: 9 core; 3 elective

Core: Assess credit applications; Establish and maintain appropriate security; Manage and recover bad and doubtful debts; Utilise the legal process to recover outstanding debt; Manage overdue customer accounts; Resolve disputes; Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry; Conduct individual work within a compliance framework; Implement risk management strategies. Plus electives.
