This course gives students the tools and knowledge to excel in their career in the health and fitness industries. It was designed to be applied in a non-clinical setting within the national dietary guidelines. This course aims to give students a firm understanding of fundamental principles of nutrition including: basic medical knowledge about the human body; how human bodies digest and metabolise food, and store energy; and how to tailor specialised nutritional advice for weight management, exercise, sport and specific populations and evaluate their general health, wellbeing and lifestyle.

Entry Requirements:

Hold a current 'working with children check' issued by the relevant Government department in the state of territory; be 18 years or older at the date of enrolment and completed year 12 or equivalent.
