The ANU Diploma of Liberal Studies is a pathway into the Bachelor of Arts. Study pathways

Students completing the Diploma with no more than one fail or incomplete grade and with a GPA of at least 5.0 out of 7.0 will receive 48 units of credit status when they progress into the Bachelor of Arts. Students typically enroll in the most common majors and minors within the Bachelor of Arts. The transition from the Diploma to the Bachelor will allow students to complete their Bachelor of Arts after only two additional years of study for the following majors: Anthropology; Criminology; Development Studies; English; History; International Relations; Philosophy; Political Science; Sociology
