Standard entry requirements

A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a GPA 5.0/7.0 and at least 8 courses in cognate disciplines. Cognate disciplines: Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Astronomy, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental Studies, Other Natural and Physical Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering, and Related Technologies, Health. Students must also meet the ANU English Language Requirements.

Study pathways

Applicants with a Bachelor Degree or Graduate Certificate in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 24 units (one semester) of credit. Applicants with a Graduate Diploma or Honours in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 48 units (one year) of credit. Students may chose to exit after completion of 24 units with a Graduate Certificate, or after 48 units with a Graduate Diploma.
