Join a network of experienced national security practitioners and policymakers at the National Security College with the Master of National Security Policy. The program aims to develop graduates who have a deeper understanding of the traditional and non-traditional national security challenges facing Australia, Asia Pacific and the world, appreciation of how Australia's national security architecture functions, enhanced capacity to lead or contribute to strategy development within government, and a deeper awareness of the security challenges involved in implementing national security policy and evaluating its effectiveness.

A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5/7; All applicants must meet the University's English Language Admission Requirements for Students.

Study Pathways:

Applicants with a Bachelor degree or Graduate Certificate in a cognate discipline may be eligible for 24 units (one semester) of credit. Applicants with a Graduate Diploma or Honours in a cognate discipline may be eligible for 48 units (one year) of credit. Credit may be available for relevant work experience. Cognate disciplines are: Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies; Development Studies; Governance; History; International Affairs; International Relations; Law; Non Language Asian Studies; Pacific Studies; Policy Studies; Public Administration; Political Communication; Political Sciences; Security Studies; and Strategic Studies
