Australian Pacific College

This course is designed for overseas students planning to enrol in a university, technical college or other tertiary Institution, particularly at an under-graduate level in the field of health care, humanities, business, information technology or accounting. It focuses on increasing skills for academic study in English and extending students' abilities for such study.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent


6 core; plus stream based electives

Core: English for academic purposes one; English for academic purposes two; Australian studies; Critical thinking; Work processing and spreadsheets; English for specific purposes. Electives: Health care anatomy and human physiology; Humanities mass communication and studies in community; Management of organisations and work teams; Web fundamentals and operating systems software; Accounting one and mathematics

Established in 1993, Australian Pacific College (APC) is a Registered Training Organisation and Australian Government registered ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses to Overseas Students) and NEAS (National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme) accredited centre. APC offers English, accounting, business, hospitality, human resources management, information technology, marketing, management, project management, social media marketing, tourism and TESOL courses. The College also offers a preparation course for vocational and higher education (English for Academic Purposes) and an IELTS preparation program.
