Become a leader in commerce and business. Commerce is important across all areas of business, from mining to manufacturing, retail to restaurants, tourism to teaching. Be a stockbroker in London, New York or Stockholm. Run the accounts for your family business. Manage the finances for your local council. You will study a range of core areas focussing on commerce and may also include a major in accounting, law, economics and finance. We'll help you get practical experience in financial organisations and departments during your degree so that when you graduate, you'll not only have the skills but also the experience to secure work. The Bachelor of Commerce will prepare you for a career that keeps you thinking, allows you to travel and lets you work across different industries throughout your career. As a generalist degree, it is particularly attractive if you want to experience many different commerce courses rather than select a specific pathway. Majors are available in Economics and Finance, Law and Accounting. Double majors are also available in Accounting and Law or Economics and Finance and Law. This program may require participation in a range of WIL/work experience type activities and these will be negotiated with students individually. The time component is variable.
