It reflects the role of individuals working in an operational role in civil construction, who undertake a prescribed range of tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental knowledge, in a defined context working under supervision.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education. Some electives may require prerequisite units.

16 units: 10 core; 6 elective

Electives: Use explosive power tools; Hand spread asphalt; Carry out concrete work; Repair potholes; Conduct basic scaffolding operations; Respond to site based spills; Licence to perform dogging; plus more.
