Instruct Water Safety and Survival Skills (SIS Unit)

AUSTSWIM

This unit is part of the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. It describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop lesson plans and instruct water safety and survival skills to both children and adults using drills, activities and games. It applies to those conducting learn-to-swim and water safety classes in swimming pools and confined natural shallow water venues.
