This dynamic double degree aims to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in corporate business and/or secondary teaching. Many skills are taught that are transferable across both areas such as project management, planning, organisation and leadership.

Year 12 or equivalent


Composed of 32 units (192 credit points) of study over eight semesters, combining studies in business with studies in education. The BBus strand and the BTch strand each contribute 96 credit points to the combined degree.

Study Pathways:

Credit is given for prior learning appropriate to course requirements. Honours is available to meritorious students.

Avondale College of Higher Education is a self-accrediting private provider of Christian higher education, offering a broad range of undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational education (VET) courses. Avondale offers undergraduate degrees in Arts, Business, Science, Education, Nursing, and Theology. Postgraduate studies, from Masters coursework degrees to Doctoral research level, are available in Arts, Education, Philosophy, Leadership and Management, Nursing, Ministry and Theology.
