This program functions as a pathway into degree studies at Avondale for those who do not meet the direct entry requirements. Most students are able to start their chosen Avondale degree after one or two semesters in this program. It provides individual help in critical thinking, essay and assignment writing, managing a study program and other skills necessary for academic success or entry into employment.

Avondale College of Higher Education is a self-accrediting private provider of Christian higher education, offering a broad range of undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational education (VET) courses. Avondale offers undergraduate degrees in Arts, Business, Science, Education, Nursing, and Theology. Postgraduate studies, from Masters coursework degrees to Doctoral research level, are available in Arts, Education, Philosophy, Leadership and Management, Nursing, Ministry and Theology.
