RISA Mine Induction (Training Program)

This training program is made up of units from the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package. It provides participants with the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of mining sites. The course has been developed for people who want to work in the mining industry and need to complete an induction (also known as a mining ticket). This course meets mining induction requirements set by the Queensland Mining Safety Inspectorate.

Established in 1997, Axial Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers traineeship and apprenticeship trade training, business qualifications and a range of short courses and inductions. Axial offers traineeships and apprenticeships in the areas of: business, meat retail, engineering and automotive. Axial also provides training in mine inductions and site safety, first aid and Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC).
